The evident and clear reality that the Savior in biblical accounts calls for a kind of radical love focused on the poor is what has always made the Christian faith something of a scandalous religion: attractive to the populace, but due to its natural unconventionality requiring to be restrained. In the fifties it was contained through watering down – Protestant Christianity was so prevalent that it practically baptized the status quo.
A Conflict for the Finest of Us
Therefore I have felt heartened to observe the determined opposition against Trump emerge in this past year.
